Taiwan gets really serious when it comes to eating, the food culture here is something unique and the fact that eating outside, most of the times, could be cheaper than cooking yourself has created a country with an amazing offer of restaurants, food stands, night markets, food courts and other places to enjoy the different Taiwanese delicatessen.
But where to start?! If you decide to go for a food adventure in one of the nightmarkets around the city, you will quickly realise that maybe one or two days are not enough to try all the special dishes Taiwan can make for you, also sometimes can be difficult to spot what are the local taiwanese foods and what foods comes from other countries.
So we have decided make a list with the 20 local foods you should try when coming to Taiwan.
To complete the article we counted with the amazing work of talented illustrator Tango Chow from Hong Kong!
說到吃的，不得不認真說台灣的食物文化是相當獨一無二的，就算大多時間都在外用餐也可以比購買雜貨或在家自理還便宜，因此造就了很多驚為天人的餐廳、小吃攤販、夜市或商場美食街等等，這些地方皆是可以享用台灣美食的好地方。
”但是這麼多地方，要從何開始呢？“
如果你決定去夜市展開一場美食探險，很快你會發現一天或兩天根本不夠去嘗試所有特別的台灣料理，然而台灣美食多元化，有時候很難分辨哪些是道地的台灣菜或是從其他國家引進的，所以我們列出了20道在台灣必嘗試的台灣美食來和大家分享！
